SUSTAINABILITY will be the central theme for Blueleaf’s presence at the Future of Care conference tomorrow (Tuesday) in Harrogate, with new service initiatives and product launches to support care homes in delivering a more sustainable future.
A new package of information-based services is being developed, for example, to provide care home management with essential data and insight that will help them make better informed decisions, and evidence their commitment to sustainability throughout the supply chain.
The Blueleaf team will also be sharing information about an innovative new range of plant-based cleaning solutions, which is set to give care homes a new eco-friendly approach to cleaning that no longer relies on harsh chemicals and corrosive products.
CEO Nick Frogbrook says Blueleaf is committed to helping care homes deliver better outcomes in every area, and this includes sustainability: “The path to creating sustainable businesses is constantly evolving and we need to evolve with it,” he added.
“The sector’s success at meeting the challenge will depend on every business taking positive action, which is why we are using the Future of Care conference to raise awareness of what we are doing and how we can support our customers now and in the future.
“Blueleaf, which achieved Planet Mark certification this year, is on its own journey of sustainability, and we know that our commitment to reducing our own emissions will in turn help our customers reduce their Scope 3 emissions.
“We are also proud to be bringing new ideas and solutions to the sector, and to be sharing our knowledge, guidance and support to help our customers on their own journey to net zero.”
