ROWNHAMS Manor, part of Oyster Care Homes, has announces the launch of the Carers Coffee Club.
The new initiative is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive space for individuals caring for adults aged 65 and over. Commencing tomorrow (Wednesday), the Carers Coffee Club will be held on the first Wednesday of every month from 2pm to 3.30pm.
The Carers Coffee Club offers an opportunity for carers to gather, enjoy a cuppa and cake, and share experiences with others in similar situations.
General manager Samantha Squibb said: “We understand the immense dedication and effort that carers put into looking after their loved ones. We want to offer a space where they can take a moment for themselves, enjoy a warm drink, and connect with others who truly understand their journey.
“The Carers Coffee Club is our way of showing appreciation and support to the incredible individuals who make a difference in the lives of others every day.”
Carers are welcome to attend either alone or with the person they care for. This drop-in session does not require any advance booking, allowing for flexible attendance.
All carers are invited to join the first Carers Coffee Club tomorrow.
