NEW Cheltenham care home Crofton Springs is launching a weekly community event taking place over the Christmas period called Festive Fridays.
Free of charge and open to all members of the local area, it gives people the opportunity to come in from the cold for a glass of fizz, homemade treats and a classic movie in the facility’s cinema room.
Home manager Jordaynie Russell said: “Christmas is a time for community and as the weather gets colder, we want to make sure our neighbours have a safe place to come and enjoy some holiday cheer.
‘It’s been a pleasure to spend the last few weeks visiting local businesses and getting to know the people of Cheltenham, so we hope everyone feels welcome to join us for our Festive Fridays.’
Crofton Springs’ Festive Friday events will take place in the home every Friday until December 13 from 3pm. These events are free of charge and open to all.
