THE team at Somer Valley House, part of Oyster Care Homes, recently visited the Parkinson’s Support Group at the Centurion Hotel.
The visit provided a meaningful opportunity to engage with local individuals, share information about the services offered at Somer Valley House, and discuss how the home can support those living with Parkinson’s.
The group gave the team a warm welcome, creating an open and insightful dialogue about the challenges faced by individuals with Parkinson’s and their families.
The visit fostered a sense of collaboration and community, strengthening connections between Somer Valley House and the wider Midsomer Norton area.
Care manager Rhona Sievewright said “Meeting members of the Parkinson’s Support Group was a truly rewarding experience. Their stories and insights help us continually improve our care offerings to better meet their needs.
“We are deeply committed to working alongside the local community to provide the best possible support and care.”
