A TALENTED resident from Kenton Manor Care Home in Newcastle will see her festive creation in print after winning a competition to design this year’s official Christmas card for Solehawk and its sister companies, Popular Care and Intobeige.
The winning design, created by Patricia Bell, features a cheerful scene of busy Christmas elves spreading festive joy. The colourful and heartwarming artwork captured the spirit of the season perfectly and is now being printed ready to be sent out this December.
Residents from care homes across the North East and Scotland took part in the fun competition, putting their creativity to the test with a range of seasonal designs.
Steve Massey, operations manager at Solehawk, said: “Our residents had a fantastic time getting creative for this year’s Christmas card competition.
“The entries were full of imagination and festive cheer, and it was wonderful to see so many people getting involved. Patricia’s design really stood out for its colour, detail, and joyful theme, it’s sure to bring a smile to everyone who receives it.”
