FLEETWOOD Hall care home is celebrating after housekeeper Diane McCluskey was named the latest recipient of the Sandstone Star Award, presented to team members who consistently go above and beyond in their roles.
Diane, who is known throughout the home for her warmth, attention to detail and exceptional commitment to residents’ wellbeing, was chosen for the award in recognition of the personal touch she brings to her work.
Her thoughtful approach to caring for residents’ belongings and private spaces has made a significant impact on both colleagues and those living at Fleetwood Hall.
Steve Hamblett, operations director at Sandstone Care Group, said: “I just love the way Diane provides that personal touch to her work.
“Taking great care of residents’ personal things is incredibly important. It really demonstrates how respectful and caring Diane is towards our residents. We are lucky to have such a kind and caring colleague.”
Her colleagues agree that Diane’s approach sets her apart, not only for the standard of her work but for the compassion she shows every day.
Care home manager Kimberley Lord added: “I truly value the personal touch Diane brings to everything she does.
“The care and respect she shows is remarkable and it reflects her genuine kindness and dedication. Diane’s hard work and compassion always shine through, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of our team.”
