A NORTH East training business has scooped a prestigious industry award for its work helping to tackle the nation’s social care crisis.
Training in Care was recognised as the Best Care Sector Training Provider at the annual Northern Enterprise Awards.
The award acknowledged the organisation’s ‘unwavering commitment to delivering training that makes a real difference for both care providers and the professionals they support.’
Training in Care provides bespoke, needs-led programmes designed to address the evolving challenges of the care sector.
Over the past 26 years the company has helped more than 2,500 people enter the care sector, with its courses continually being updated to remain current, compliant and aligned with best practice while ensuring practical, engaging and real-world application.
Its training programmes include face-to-face, blended and in-house training to ensure providers can continue operating smoothly without disruption..
Dr Angela Brown, CEO of Training in Care, said: “This award recognises the dedication of our team and the many care providers, managers and learners we work with every day.
“Our approach is centred on understanding an organisation’s culture, values and challenges, which then allows us to design training that is relevant, meaningful and immediately impactful, and this award is testament that.
“It is a fantastic achievement for the team and the amazing work they day day-in, day-out, to ensure the nation’s carers are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to provide the best possible care.”
The company is now hoping to build on this success with the launch of new, updated courses and the expansion into new markets.
