Care home residents get creative for Christmas

RESIDENTS at HC-One’s Clarendon Hall Care Home, in Humberston, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, have been getting into the Christmas spirit by creating their own beautiful decorations.

Staff and residents at HC-One’s Clarendon Hall, which provides residential and nursing care, love the annual treat of putting up the Christmas tree each year. This year, residents revealed their desire to get more involved by creating their own paper chains and other festive decorations.

Wellbeing coordinator Hayley Sanderson said: “It was lovely how keen our residents were to help decorate Clarendon Hall. In the morning we made paper chains together and put them up, and the residents said how good they looked.

“In the afternoon we decorated the Christmas trees, and everyone was very pleased with how festive the home feels. It’s a really special time to be in Clarendon Hall, everyone loves coming together to celebrate the festive period.”
