DC Care has completed the sale of Commonside Care, a former specialist care home located in Pensnett, Brierley Hill in the West Midlands, on behalf of Toni Quinn.
Commonside Care previously provided learning disability care for up to six residents and enjoyed an excellent reputation for many years. After the occupancy dropped, the difficult decision to close the home was made.
With Toni looking to retire, DC Care was appointed and the property was acquired by Jules Tustin, who previously operated care homes in the Dudley Borough for adults with learning disabilities.
The sale of Commonside Care was handled by DC Care’s director Andy Sandel and senior sales negotiator Clare Duffey.
Clare said: “Commonside Care as a vacant care home offered a variety of options for purchasers, which attracted a lot of interest and we were pleased to find a suitable buyer in Jules Tustin.
“It was a pleasure working with Charlotte Jones at Lunn Groves, who worked tirelessly on the legal due diligence to help keep the sale on track.
“Andy and I would like to wish Toni a happy retirement, and we look forward to sourcing Jules’ next care home opportunity.”
