FOR those with a treasured classic vehicle, National Drive It Day is one of the first opportunities after the long winter to get it out for a run, and Castle View is again providing a coffee stop for participants to build into their itinerary on Sunday, April 26 between 10am and 2pm.
Just a mile from the centre of Windsor and easily accessed from the M4 and M25, Windsor Great Park, Legoland and Ascot, Castle View will be open to all classic vehicle owners and those keen to view some beautiful classics.
Managing director Karl Hallow said: “Castle View is well placed to offer a coffee stop to those classic car enthusiasts participating in Drive It Day around Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and West London.
“There’s no knowing what sort of vehicles will be here on the day, but last year we had a wonderful assortment of more than 50 classic sports and saloon cars, and we can promise some tasty cakes produced by our talented homeowners.”
To join in, drivers can purchase a ‘Drive It Day’ car plaque from £12.50 at http://driveitday.co.uk/shop or simply arrive on the day, no pre-booking required, although groups are asked to call 07778 554666 to advise their arrival time.
