Group raises more than £10,000 for charity

FOUR Seasons Health Care Group care homes across the UK have raised more than £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting a series of community coffee mornings during September and October.

100 care homes invited members of their local communities to join residents and care teams as well as team members working in the group’s support departments for the fundraising events.

Jacqui Ritchie, chief operating officer at Four Seasons Health Care Group, said: “Thanks to the incredible efforts of our team members, residents, their families and members of our local communities, our fundraising events have been overwhelmingly successful.

“We are hugely grateful to everyone who attended one of our events or contributed in some way, and we’re very proud to be able to help such a worthy charity.”

Thousands of cakes were made by the homes’ chefs, residents and carers and many of the care homes welcomed local dignitaries, celebrities and entertainers to the community events.
