THE Lodge, part of the Elizabeth Finn portfolio of UK care homes, has recently received Gold Standards Framework Reaccreditation Platinum status.
The GSF Award, which recognises health and social care providers delivering quality care in the final year of life, was presented at the Gold Standards Framework Conference and Awards ceremony in London.
The GSF Centre provides expert training which once completed and embedded into practice, means homes can apply for Accreditation which lasts for three years.
At the end of the three years, organisations need to apply for re-accreditation and those achieving this are awarded Platinum status.
