THE team at Buchan House Care Home in Cambridge is celebrating after being reaccredited by the Gold Standards Framework following a recent review.
The GSF is a practical, systematic, evidence-based approach to optimising care for people nearing the end of their life, given by frontline care providers.
GSF is accredited following in-depth monitoring to ensure team members continue to deliver high-quality care, training, and quality assurance to the people they support.
Home manager Tanya Logan said: “I am incredibly proud of my team for achieving reaccreditation with the Gold Standards Framework.
“This award is a testament to their dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to delivering the highest quality of care. It’s wonderful to see their hard work recognised in such a meaningful way.”
The team at Buchan House Care Home has been accredited with the GSF following previous practice reviews, which is an achievement the team is incredibly proud of.
Ensuring a person is cared for, with dignity and respect until the end of their life is one of the greatest responsibilities the team holds, so they were delighted to receive re-accreditation – a testament to the high-quality palliative care they provide.
