RESIDENTS from Care South’s Castle Dene care home in Bournemouth dazzled guests with a captivating ‘Through the Ages Fashion Show’.
The event raised funds for Children in Need and was featured on BBC South Today, with Care South at Home in attendance, and was filled with plenty of nostalgia and style.
The fashion show featured a splendid array of outfits spanning from the glamorous 1920s to the chic styles of the 2020s, offering a fascinating journey through the evolution of fashion. This unique event was designed to bridge the generation gap, captivating imagination of both young and older age groups alike.
Notably, Castle Dene has a resident, Neva, who is about to mark a remarkable milestone – turning 100 years old in December. This centenarian’s upcoming birthday serves as a poignant testament to the breadth of fashion showcased at the event, covering an entire century of style and elegance.
