HC-ONE’S Windsor Court Care Home in Wetherby has successfully launched its first Chatty Café, welcoming members of the local community through its doors for a morning of company, conversation and cake.
The inaugural Chatty Café provided a relaxed and friendly space for residents and visitors alike to come together, enjoy refreshments and offer support to anyone who might need it.
The event created a welcoming atmosphere, with plenty of smiles and meaningful connections shared throughout the morning.
Ursula Herbert, activities co-ordinator at Windsor Court, said: “The Chatty Café was a huge success. I think the warmth and welcome of the home really shone through. Our visitors were very complimentary, which the staff really appreciated.”
Following the café, residents and visitors were treated to a lively session from Musical Moments, who brought music, engagement and fun to those who wished to stay and continue enjoying the morning together.
The Chatty Café will now take place every Thursday morning at 10am, and Windsor Court is encouraging members of the community to drop in for a chat.
Windsor Court looks forward to continuing to build connections within the local community through its weekly Chatty Café sessions.
