BARCHESTER’S Florence Court Care Home in Fareham has teamed up with an array of local professionals to launch a new, monthly drop-in advice clinic with its grand opening on Friday from 10am to noon, which everyone is welcome to attend.
On the first Friday of every month the advice drop-in sessions will be open for all to come along and speak to different professionals from the community such as solicitors offering legal advice, health professionals, dementia experts, independent financial advisers, local councillors and more.
It will be a chance to meet people and find out how to get help, advice and support. Visitors will be treated to a cuppa, a slice of cake and a chance to get some good, impartial advice.
General manager Jacqueline Hampton said: “We are only too happy to welcome people from our local community to Florence Court in order to support them with all different kinds of advice and help.
“We hope the drop-in sessions will be a huge success, please do come along on Friday to have a coffee, meet the professionals and sample our chef’s home-made cakes and pastries – everyone is welcome.”
