HC-ONE’S Lydgate Lodge in Batley has partnered with Kirklees College to support the next generation of adult social care professionals.
The collaboration aims to provide valuable placement opportunities for students, helping to ensure high standards of care in the sector for years to come.
Jess Williams, employer engagement and placement advisor at Kirklees College, recently visited Lydgate Lodge to meet the team and tour the home’s facilities.
Home manager Ben Makwar said: “It is so important to support young people as they embark on an important career in adult social care, and we are delighted to be able to support them on this journey.”
Through this partnership, Lydgate Lodge will offer students hands-on experience and insights into the day-to-day running of a care home, preparing them for careers in adult social care.
Both Lydgate Lodge and Kirklees College are committed to ensuring students gain the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to excel.
