Home pioneers dementia care in West Midlands with introductory event

A luxury West Midlands care home offering specialist dementia, nursing and residential care hosted a professionals’ introductory afternoon to offer support to fellow care providers in the region.

Blythe Rose, a state-of-the-art dementia home in Blythe Valley Park, is one of the newest additions to the Macc Care group, and has been offering residents an inclusive care culture, designed to illuminate their independence within a purpose-built and friendly environment, since it opened in April.

The care home invited local commissioning groups who are seeking appropriate care for complex cases whose needs may be difficult to accommodate by their current care home, to visit Blythe Rose for its introductory afternoon.

Professionals were given the opportunity to tour the purpose-built home, understand the ‘Living in Harmony’ model of care that sets Macc Care apart, and meet Blythe Rose manager Cheryl Harbourne MBE and her team.

Macc Care’s vision for Blythe Rose is to create a regional centre of excellence; pioneering care across a wide spectrum of dementia needs and dependencies through clinical expertise and unrivalled facilities.
