COPPERFIELD Court, which is part of Oyster Care Homes, hosted a visit from the team at the Yarrow Spa Hotel in celebration of ‘Community Week’ at East Kent College.
The visit was part of a wider initiative to support local care facilities, bringing specialised beauty and wellness services directly to the residents.
It marked the first time the Yarrow Hotel team had offered their services in a care home setting, and they were warmly welcomed by residents and staff alike.
Eve Balcombe, registered general manager at Copperfield Court, said: “The Yarrow Spa Hotel’s visit brought such joy to our residents and team alike.
“Community Week was a wonderful opportunity to welcome the Yarrow team, and we look forward to more collaborations that enrich the lives of everyone here.”
Residents received a variety of treatments, from soothing hand and head massages to nail painting, which provided not only relaxation but also a delightful shared experience.
The Copperfield Court team also enjoyed the treatments, enhancing the sense of community within the home.
The Yarrow Hotel, based in Broadstairs, operates as part of East Kent College, providing students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience after completing their qualifications.
