Homecare provider celebrates 10 years of caring for the community

BLUEBIRD Care Hillingdon has celebrated its 10-year anniversary of providing care to the community.

Taking place at the Uxbridge Golf Club, the event marked a decade since the home care provider first started providing care to the community in May 2012.

Care assistants were joined by their customers and family members who enjoyed a selection of sweet treats and enjoyable entertainment from local performers.

The home care provider first opened its doors after director Alvin Osei-Tutu was driven to provide quality home care to people in the local community. It has since delivered over 600,000 visits to help more than 1,000 customers receive care from the comfort of their own homes.

He said: “Since opening we have been driven by one purpose: to deliver exceptional care that is truly personalised to the needs and preferences of all our customers.

“Our success has been down to the selfless efforts of our team members, both past and present, and I am grateful for the fantastic care they have delivered.

“Over a decade of service our care assistants have delivered vital support to members of the community and continued to do so during the global pandemic despite the immense pressures and challenges of this period.

Now employing more than 80 care assistants who care for more than 130 customers, the success of the office has also enabled Alvin to open a number of other franchises across London and the south wast, with offices in Havering, Thurrock and Castle Point and Northwood and Ruislip.
