Homeowners launch their charity cookbook

WITH 44 pages packed with delicious recipes, a special cookbook compiled by the homeowners living at Castle View Windsor has something for everyone.

From no bake Cheesecakes, a Tarta de Naranja and a Whisky Ginger Cream, some recipes have been passed down through the generations while others offer a more contemporary take on traditional classics.

Available for a minimum donation of £5 with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support, the cookbook can be pre-ordered online at castleviewwindsor.co.uk/castle_view_cookbook_pre_orders/ and is also available from the reception at Castle View, Helston Lane, Windsor SL4 5GG

The idea for the cookbook followed the success of the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ fundraiser for Macmillan, which was hosted by the homeowners, friends and staff at Castle View, who then decided to take their baking passion to a new level and raise even more funds for the charity.

Karl Hallows, managing director of Castle View, said: “We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support we receive from our homeowners, colleagues and the wider community of Windsor and this cookbook is a wonderful way to celebrate that spirit while continuing to support the vital work of Macmillan.”
