SIGNATURE at The Beeches, in Brentwood has hosted a summer of celebrations to celebrate the Commonwealth Games, and given their residents the opportunity to compete against one another in a tournament styled competition.
The Commonwealth Games ran alongside Signature Sports Week, where residents have enjoyed inter-home competitions against other care homes across the Signature Senior Lifestyle organisation.
Residents at The Beeches took part in penny plunking and enjoyed an egg and spoon race which was made up of walking, wheelchair, scooter and Zimmer frame contestants.
Sports week concluded with a celebratory BBQ for residents, friends, family and the local community. Cocktails were also enjoyed at the awards ceremony.
