RESIDENTS at RMBI Care Co. Home James Terry Court, in South Croydon, enjoyed a week of engaging activities, with one new game in particular bringing lots of joy and laughter.
Inspired by a creative idea fro a member of the home’s administration team, residents took part in an exciting balloon game that quickly became a hit.
The activity encouraged movement, hand-eye coordination and plenty of smiles, as residents worked together to keep balloons in the air.
Home manager Diane Rumsby said: “Our staff members enjoy brainstorming creative ideas to keep our residents engaged, and always welcome suggestions from the residents themselves.
“Maggie came up with a balloon game and the residents absolutely loved it. All we could hear across James Terry Court was laughter.”
The activity is part of the home’s commitment to providing a variety of recreational opportunities that support residents’ wellbeing, keeping them active, stimulated and socially engaged.
