London Children’s Ballet wows residents at care home

RESIDENTS and staff at Magnolia Court were treated to a magical afternoon as the renowned London Children’s Ballet performed their enchanting rendition of ‘The Secret Garden’.

The performance, featuring talented young dancers aged nine to 15, brought the classic to life with vibrant costumes and graceful choreography, all set to captivating orchestral music. 

The residents were delighted as the children portrayed the magic, charm, and beauty of the secret garden through their expressive dance.

London Children’s Ballet is known for its annual productions in London’s West End, where they stage original ballets based on classic children’s stories. 

In addition to their public performances, LCB is committed to outreach programs, bringing the joy of dance to communities and individuals who may not otherwise have access to it.

“We were absolutely thrilled to welcome the London Children’s Ballet to Magnolia Court,” said home manager Cosmin Tiriteu. 

“The performance was truly captivating, and it was wonderful to see the residents so engaged and enjoying the beautiful artistry of these talented young dancers.”
