Newest Cheltenham home set to launch with grand opening

A NEW state-of-the-art residential care home in Cheltenham will open its doors for the first time next month for members of the community to take a look around.

Guests will be able to explore the facilities, learn more about the Crofton Springs lifestyle, enjoy complimentary refreshments and take away a free gift bag.

Home manager Jordaynie Russell said: “We are extremely excited to soon be able to open the doors of our beautiful new home to the Cheltenham community.

“We have had such a heart-warming response so far from local people, for both the first phase of recruitment and from prospective residents. We can’t wait to support our new residents to live their lives to the fullest as part of the Crofton Springs family.”

The new home, part of the Ideal Carehomes family operated by HC-One, will house up to 66 older people, whilst employing more than 65 team members once fully staffed.

The team will benefit from the latest care technology, allowing them to deliver person-centred care in a dignified manner, promoting independence for the residents.

With bright, open-plan social areas and spacious bedrooms with en-suite wet rooms and showers, Crofton Springs is designed with future residents in mind. Residents will also enjoy a café area, cosy garden rooms and a plush cinema room with its very own popcorn machine.

Built to be energy efficient and environmentally friendly, Crofton Springs is an EPC ‘A’ rated care home. Through use of solar panels and ground source heat pump technology, it can be operated as a Carbon Free Green home running without the use of gas.
