BRUNELCARE, an 85-year-old charity supporting older people across the South West, has launched its annual Long Service and Colleague Awards, now in its fifth year.
The awards shine a light on the long service, dedication, commitment and achievements of staff across the organisation and will take place in mid-March at Leigh Court Manor House in Bristol.
It will celebrate colleagues who have reached long-service milestones of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years with the charity. All staff reaching these milestones are invited to attend and will be recognised with afternoon tea and a gift in appreciation of their service.
Customer engagement coordinator Caroline Gerrard said: “The nominations we receive are truly special, making the decision incredibly difficult for our panel of Trustees, colleagues and senior leaders.
“We usually receive around 150 nominations. We are also delighted to be celebrating an outstanding 40 years of service from one exceptional carer.”
Alongside long-service recognition, the event will also highlight outstanding colleague achievements through a series of awards.
Staff across Brunelcare are invited to submit nominations for the following categories:
• The Joy White Cup – recognising outstanding dedication and passion, with a strong focus on kindness.
• Going Above and Beyond Award – celebrating colleagues who consistently go the extra mile.
• Best Team Impact Award – recognising teams who have made a meaningful difference together.
• Leadership Award – celebrating those who positively influence and support others.
• Best Customer Service Award – recognising exceptional care and commitment to customers.
• Living the Values Award – celebrating colleagues who embody Brunelcare’s core values.
The Long Service and Colleague Awards demonstrate Brunelcare’s ongoing commitment to recognising the people who make a difference every day and celebrating those who bring the charity’s values to life through their work.
The awards close on Wednesday, February 25.
