People will be taken on a tour of the Home and have the chance to join in or watch some of the planned activities that are specifically tailored for people living with the condition.
Home manager Reggie Ballos and senior members of staff will be on available to answer questions, and visitors will also have the chance to join in with the planned activities, and chat to residents.
Reggie said: “When someone we love starts living with dementia, it can feel devastating. But we work with relatives to provide the very best person-centred care possible.
“Our specialist dementia care environments are full of fun and activities, where residents can thrive and enjoy life.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to the Home to see the amazing facilities and activities we have to offer, and to answer any questions they may have.”
The open day is for veterans – including Reservists and those who completed National Service – and their partners, as well as two accompanying relatives or friends.
