Pen pals initiative to spread kindness and connection

RESIDENTS at HC-One’s Bradley Hall in Leicester are inviting members of the community to help spread kindness and connection by taking part in a new pen pals activity.

The initiative aims to bring joy to residents through the simple but meaningful act of letter writing, giving them the opportunity to make new friends, share stories and brighten each other’s days.

Home manager Sarah Clark said: “Our residents absolutely love connecting with others, and this pen pals activity is a wonderful way to bring smiles, spark conversations and build new friendships.

“Something as simple as receiving a letter can really brighten someone’s day, and we’re so excited to see this initiative begin in February.”

Bradley Hall’s residents are looking forward to receiving letters from people of all ages, whether they are sharing everyday news, memories, hobbies or simply a friendly hello.

The activity is part of Bradley Hall’s ongoing commitment to supporting residents’ wellbeing, encouraging social interaction and fostering strong links with the local community.

The team at Bradley Hall hopes the initiative will inspire individuals, families, schools and community groups to get involved and help create moments of happiness for residents.

Anyone taking part is encouraged to like and share the initiative to help spread the word and reach even more potential pen pals.

Letters can be sent to:
