Richmond Villages Painswick will be running a competition to win a pet portrait at Frampton Country Fair on Sunday.
Visitors will be given the opportunity to have their photograph taken with their pet and write a short statement about why they think theirs is the best.
Their picture will be hung on the wall of “pug-shots” and put on social media for others to vote on the best furry companion, with the winner receiving a “paw-trait” of their pet.
Matt Evans, the village manager at Richmond Villages Painswick, said: “We are delighted to be involved in Frampton Country Fair. We want our competition to encourage people to celebrate their furry friends and to showcase what their companion means to them.”
Set in 30 acres of parkland with over 400 trade stands, three display rings, and a traditional fun-fair, there is plenty of fun for the whole family at Frampton Country Fair.
Visitors can have a go at clay shooting, enter into the dog show, and view craft, trade, and food stalls.
