A NEW purpose-built care home has officially opened its doors in Worcester with an opening event to mark the special occasion.
Perdiswell Rose is the 16th home for the award-winning Macc Care Group, and was officially opened with a vibrant community celebration.
The special event saw local residents, businesses, charities, healthcare professionals and prospective families all come together to mark the occasion.
Guests were treated to Prosecco on arrival, a buffet, live harp music and guided tours of the state-of-the-art home – all designed to showcase the warm, luxurious and welcoming environment that Perdiswell Rose has to offer.
The ceremonial ribbon was cut by the home’s first resident, Eileen Thomson, who moved in just days earlier. Further residents have since joined Eileen.
Bhav Amlani, director at Macc Care Group, added: “We are thrilled to officially open Perdiswell Rose and welcome the Worcester community into the Macc Care family.
“This home represents not just an expansion of our group, but a continued commitment to personalised, high-quality care in beautiful, purpose-built surroundings.
“The launch marks another key milestone in our growth strategy as we look to bring our unique philosophy of care to even more people across the UK.”
The home stands on the site of the historic Perdiswell House. While much of the original house was lost in the 1950s, a fireplace salvaged from the building now proudly features within Perdiswell Rose – offering a fitting link to the past, within a home built for the future.
Perdiswell Rose offers residential, nursing and dementia care across three suites and boasts facilities including a cinema, wellness suite, gym, café, pub and landscaped gardens.
