WITH drinks in the rose garden followed by an Italian themed dinner in the restaurant, property owners and guests got together on the longest day of the year to celebrate the solstice at Castle View, the new retirement village in Windsor.
“There is always a real buzz to our events,” said Lisa Fisher, village manager. “And none more so that on Midsummer’s Day this year. It was the perfect afternoon and evening, and after two years of Covid restrictions, everyone was up for enjoying themselves.
“It’s wonderful to see people really enjoying their retirement here, and many have said how much more fun and social interaction they are now having compared with their previous life.”
