THE Princess Royal Training Awards are officially open and invite applications for 2026, recognising exceptional workplace learning and development across the UK and Ireland.
Since their launch, these highly respected Awards have celebrated organisations committed to workforce excellence. Supported by HRH the Princess Royal, they honour those delivering impactful training that drives real business results.
Open to all sectors and sizes, the Awards are free to enter. New for 2026, the Awards’ eligibility has been expanded to include global training programmes delivered by UK- and Ireland-based organisations, celebrating excellence both domestically and internationally!
The 2025 cycle saw a record 57 programmes achieve the Award, reflecting the high standard of entries. The care sector remained a strong presence, with Carefound Care Home among this year’s recipients.
Awarded for its enhanced Care Professional Pathway, a scalable programme exceeding Care Certificate standards that addressed post-COVID workforce pressures, it cut hospital admissions by 14 per cent, grew care hours by 27 per cent, and achieved more than 95 per cent staff satisfaction.
All applicants benefit from ongoing high-quality support throughout the application process, including in-person and virtual workshops, ‘tea & chats’, Assessor feedback and webchat. What’s more, Award recipients are celebrated at a high-profile ceremony in London and join a community of over 700 learning leaders!
