THREE team members at West Midlands-based homecare provider Nexus Care Services have received nominations for the Kaplan Apprenticeship Awards 2024.
Elizabeth Court and Liam Yates have both been nominated for the Accountancy and Tax Award. Both are currently undertaking AAT qualifications at Level 3 and 4 respectively.
Managing director Tinga Umera has also been named a finalist in the Mentoring and Support Award.
She said: “Liam, Elizabeth and I are all incredibly proud to be nominated for these awards.
“The Nexus team are big believers in consistent development and support for all colleagues, so we always seek to offer opportunities and guidance in the form of apprenticeships.
“To see our wonderful apprentices progressing so well and being recognised for their work is fantastic – we’re all here cheering them on.
“To be nominated myself was a particular honour. The dedication and initiative of our apprentices is what makes them so successful, but we take great pride and care in guiding them and making sure they get what they need out of their role.”
Winners in each of the ten categories will be announced on September 30, with a celebration to be held at Shangri-La The Shard in London on December 16.
