Care Sector’s Got Talent heads to Birmingham

THE venue for the grand final of Care Sector’s Got Talent has been revealed as the Rep Theatre in Birmingham.

This year the contest that celebrates the talents of the whole care sector is celebrating its fifth anniversary.

A spectacular show that includes participants who work in care and people receiving support from care services, Care Sector’s Got Talent has become a firm favourite of the social care sector.

The grand final will take place on April 2 and is hosted by Unique Venues Birmingham at the Birmingham Rep. Eight finalists will be chosen to show off their talents to a live audience of hundreds and an online audience of many more. The show runs from 2pm to 4.30pm.

Care Sector’s Got Talent is a Championing Social Care programme.

Board member and Hallmark managing director Aneurin Brown, is the chair of the ‘Talent’ programme committee.

He said: “Last year’s final in Coventry was a huge success and great fun to be part of. This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever.”

Amy Martin of lead partner Care Home Life will join the judging panel for the show.

She added: “We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Championing Social Care on Care Sector’s Got Talent. It aligns perfectly with everything we believe in, celebrating the people, passion and creativity that make social care amazing.”
