Home embraces Christmas spirit with singers and a festive photo booth

THE festive season has started at Langfield in Middleton as residents and carers alike get into the Christmas spirit.

The care home kicked off the festivities by transforming the entire interior with decorations from top to bottom.

They then welcomed the Burnside Choir, who treated the entire home to classic carols like ‘Ding Dong Merrily on High’ and ‘Silent Night’.

Not stopping there, they followed up with popular holiday hits, including Wham’s festive favourite “Last Christmas.” Residents, colleagues and visitors all joined in the joyful celebrations.

Home manager Vivienne Daly said: “A massive thank you to the Burnside Choir for coming and performing for us! It was fantastic and we loved singing along with them all.”

The home’s ‘elf team’ shas also et up a festive photo booth and invited residents to strike their best poses.

Vivienne added: “The idea behind the photo booth was to create a special moment for our residents’ families, especially those who live overseas so they could join in on the festive fun.”
